Installed aforementioned Perrin FMIC! Er, mostly. I ran out of light.

Install was a royal pain in the ass, but the way I see it, there's no other way to route the piping. The kit is great quality... the wrinkle red really does have some nice wrinkle to it, welds are top notch where they actually exist, and the core's black coating is great.

There was quite a bit of dremel work involved, mainly down where the core sits, and the driver side piping where it comes through into the fender well near where the wiper fluid reservoir is. On the second picture, you'll notice a couple paint spots along the metal on the bottom and on the left. These were two spots in the metal I had to remove to fit the core. I primed and painted them to prevent it from rusting out.

After this I returned to trying to remove the remnants of the TMIC bracket. There's one bolt that sits under the turbo's outlet. 45 minutes later with the help of a hammer to carefully rotate the bracket, we finally got it free.

Sometimes, the little things matter.

Anyway, that's about it. I'm not completely done, but I have the big stuff in place. Have to finish running some hoses and then trim the bumper cover tomorrow. I leave you guys with how the car sits tonight!

****, I don't blame you. We got so frustrated that one of us had to bring up the fuel pump clips to make ourselves feel better.

Still scared about cutting the bumper and making it look like crap. Maybe should have had somewhere do it for me. Hmm.

I used to run an FMIC. IMO the best way to ensure minimal cutting and keeping it clean is making initial measurements following a test fit, and then cutting as minimally as possible. Test fit again to get some final measurements and make an effort to make the final cuts as straight as possible.

Although you are only like an hour from Mach V and I'm sure they would do a superb job.

Got the brake fluid changed with the help of nukem while also painting his headlights black because he didn't like the chrome on his 2012 WRX headlights.

Then ordered it a nice shiny set of
Tic/Maw composite tgv risers

Now I'm looking at billet 20G compressor wheels

Decided to check out my AP and maybe do a little data-logging. Found out all numbers across the board are great, however my A/F learning 1A goes up to +10 then back down to +4 or so at idle. Checked all my hoses an inlet, no leaks. So uh... I just confused myself. Oh and I vacuumed out all the hair from my gf and my mini daschund!
