Hello, wondering what is the biggest cargo box I can get on my '14 WRX Hatch without hitting the top spoiler when the hatch is open.

I have the yakima corebars and I measured my hatch clearance to be about 52" but it was not a very precise measurement. Mostly curious if I could fit a Yakima showcase 20 or skybox 16 without hitting the hatch when it is open. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

You can fit a SkyBox 16 without hitting the hatch. It will overhang the front window a bit.

Thanks for this. Found a showcase 20 for a good price on craigslist, but looks like it just won't make it. Gonna stay shopping around for a SkyBox 16, Showcase 15 or a RocketBox 14.

You might want to look at the lengths of some of those other boxes. I thought the SkyBox 16 was massive and long enough already.

If it can fit 4 snowboards then I will be happy.

Was browsing craigslist today and this yakima skybox 16 popped up mid search. Hit them up right away and got a sweet deal! I'm ready to go! Just got the cross bars as well. Yakima Corebars.
