Default 2011 Impreza heat shields

I have a 2011 Impreza with some heat shields that are rattling and it sounds terrible. They are on the exhaust manifold, and the guy at tires plus is saying 800-1000$ just for shields ( he called Subaru).

Can anyone recommend any alternatives ?

Quite a few on here will say to just yank them off.
I use 0.060" SS safety wire and wrap it up to stop rattles. Some use large SS radiator worm drive clamps to fix rusted shield hardware.

I never bought new, or recommended to buy new.

I don't have a problem yanking them off, is there any adverse effect to this method?

In general, no.
Then again, I watched some early CAT cars burn up from sitting in dry grass/leaves and setting them on fire.
Also keeping exhaust hotter preCAT is good.

In general, I try to find a way to retain heat shields and kill rattles. But that is me.
