I don't want to mod the manifold much so I'm looking to rework the dbw tb so it bolts up with a spacer...I also think the manifold needs to have a couple of holes elongated to bolt up to the USDM block

Yes, this is true, only like a few mm though, it just barely doesn't line up

OK OK....
So there is no easy way to make the Spec C manifold work straight forward plug and play with the USDM Sti.
To recap my findings is that
-Spec C Manifold is one piece, top feed fuel injectors, DBC (Can be use by USDM 02-05 wrx?)
-04-06 STI need an special adapter for the TB cuz is DBW and some kind of modification cuz does not lined up and the fuel lines r different?...

My conclusion not worth it for some of us that want to go top feed going that route.

You could have had a fab shop make you some brackets off some Aeromotive top feed rails for cheap also.

I imagine that you'd still have the DBW issues...

I was just looking at one of these last night on a 2.5/2002 WRX hybrid motor with stock rails and little spacers to make them bolt up. It looked like a clean install. I'm not sure where the spacers came from...

02-05 wrx are dbc, 06+ wrx are dbw, so it's no different from the 04+ sti
