Default 2.5 RS T or 2.5 RS Sti swap

to boost the 2.5 RS or swap the Sti motor. Would you make the same power? You could use the money for a swap for a turbo kit for the 2.5

boosted 2.5rs motors almost always blow up within 5-15k miles. The NA subaru motors just dont take well to boost. A FEW have lasted, but its litterally like 5% that last.
You are going to end up doing the STI motor once the boosted NA motor blows up anyway, so you may as well spend the money once.

Even a WRX motor would be a safer bet.

You might wanna post in the built engine forum, I think you'd get a lot more responses.

the 251's internals weren't designed to handle boost... you'd have to upgrade them

it'd be cheaper in the long run to go 207 or 257... cheapest = 205
