The picture of your car head on, with the brights on, are they both 9011's or is one 9005? Thanks.

the ones from finemotoring were already trimmed, otherwise you will have to trim it yourself

Great pics! I love the shots of the bulbs at different shutter speeds.

I got my 9011's from finemotoring as well (actually, I got them off Ebay but the seller was the same guy from finemotoring). Price was very reasonable, and the tabs come pre-trimmed so all I had to do was pop the bulbs into their sockets.

I see. Well thats one way of doing it. I just unscrewed the black retaining ring on the base of the head lamp inserted the bulbs and screwed the ring back on over the bulb base. So far they are the best High beam bulbs I have used.

HIR technology doesn't apply to dual-filament bulbs like the H4 because the glass has to be spherical and the center of the globe needs to be focused on the filament to make it work correctly. With H4, you have two filaments so they aren't in the center of the bulb like with single-filament bulbs like the 9005 and 9006 that 9011 and 9012 can replace.
