Default 02 2.0 WRX flywheel in an 03 2.5 Legacy, will it work?

I have a friend with an 03 Legacy wagon that needs a new clutch. The flywheel might also be bad. I have a good flywheel from my 02 WRX. Will it work in the Legacy? If this info is in here somewhere and I missed it, I apologize, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks

ummm if it's a turbo Legacy then it should. If it's the NA engine then no. I don't remember if the there was a Legacy GT turbo in 2003. If it's a NA motor than he can use the fly from a 2.5rs.

cheers

No turbo, just the N/A 2.5. I was hoping they were the same except perhaps for a small difference in weight.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just keep this one around.
