This worked pretty well for me on my car but not as good on my gf's black car.

I'm having this issue on my 04 jbp RS. Its not all that noticeable unless your looking for it, but still annoying. Guess I'll find a friend with a buffer. Are clay bars worth the $20??

With all this talk about using a clay bar, buffers and polishers, does all this apply to simply removing the solid white outline of the glue?

If you still have glue, try a little heat and rub it off |

I have a 2004 Java Black STI. Rubbing compund helped, but did not remove everything. I had to wet sand (lightly) with 3000 grit sandpaper. I then used Meguiars ultimate compound followed by their ultimate polish and viola, no more ghost marks!
