Default In these economic times...LET'S GO OUT TO DINNER!

Restaurant.com has $25 gift certificates for 70% off until Monday. Just sign up, put in your zip code to find restaurants in your area that are included. Put in coupon code "SAVE" when you check out and all your $25 certs (normally $10 each) are $3 each. I got 4 certificates for $12 for nice restaurants in my area. Already printed out and in hand.

There are none in my area... maybe 1-2 good places when I change the filter to 30 miles. I'm not driving 30 miles to save $15 on dinner. Thanks Neek, but it looks like this is a crappy deal for my area.

Sweet.

I see that it only applies to dinner for a lot of restaurants, but does it count for take-out/delivery or only dining-in?

Now...I don't want to seem like a simpleton, but I have to ask...is it really legit?
I mean, seriously, 70% off. there's like 30 resturants around me that do this...

Is this a one day only kinda' thing?

The truth lies in the middle somewhere. At best they are very restrictive gift certificates. They often limit, what main dishes, appetizers, etc. you can buy; when you can use them (dinner, weekends, lunch); how many you can use at once (usually just one per group).

We bought some from there and didn't find out the restrictions until the confirmation e-mail.

a bunch in my area are "out of stock"

How can this be if I print a coupon on my computer? that's retarded.

I just got my order confirmation and didn't see anything about extra restrictions. The coupon had a note under it that said it could only be used with a minimum purchase of two entrees, but that's not so bad. Basically it means free appetizers

Maybe they have one for Sweet Tomatoes. My parents were just there last night.

Say hi for me next time you see them, Neek.

To be fair they might have been buried in some link; if so I we didn't find it. They surely weren't on the offer page.

We bought a couple for a restaurant that is kind of a long haul away, only to find out we couldn't use both.
