There are already lots and lots of really tough competition, and although there's much more of it to come, here goes nothing!
My story: I used to own a 1995 Impreza L wagon in dark green that was supposed to be a shell for a project. I have only had that car for about 7 or 8 months and already it was sitting in Prodrive springs, KYB AGX Adjustable shocks, and lots of other small modifications not really worth mentioning. One fine day, the life of that car was taken by a reckless lady driver of a Chevrolet Venture. After finally settling down with an insurance company for a descent sum I had started looking for another "classic" Impreza. Time was running out on my rental car allowance and the market was really slow at the time. I ended up biting the bullet and ended up with my 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Special Edition. I introduce to you, 007PREZA! **First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who took these great pictures of my car if you are looking at this** This car gets used! I bought this brand new in late February of 2007 with 13km on it. As of today it is now coming up to 58,000km! That's in just a little over a year now. It has been my baby, pride and joy. 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Special Edition (Canadian Edition) Exterior -V-Limited Lip (replica - polyurethane) -JDM Aero Guards (replica - polyurethane) -Keep Attacking 2.5iSE "custom" decals on the doors -02 WRX OEM side skirts -TechONE 6000K HID low beam -sunroof <--from factory -04/05 tail lights swap (thumbs down for 07 tail lights) -Hella Dual Supertones -CF eye lids (not pictured in any of the pics) Wheels -Summer: 17x8 Enkei RPF1 in Gold et+45 wrapped in Kumho Ecsta SPT 235/45/17 -Winter: Fast Wheels 17x7 wrapped in Dunlop Graspic DS2 215/45/17 -Full size spare in the trunk Brakes -StopTECH slotted rotors all around -Carbotech pads all around -Russel Stainless Steel brake lines -ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid Suspension -Tien H-Tech Springs on stock struts -Group A Endlinks front and rear -Whiteline 22mm front sway bar -Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear sway bar (set on stiff) -SPT Alum lower control arms -BE strut top bars front and rear -Front: -1.6 camber -Rear: -1.8 camber Engine -she likes 91 octane -Genie Axle-Back exhaust 2.5 -Group A DBW throttle body spacer -Group A Pitch mount -Group A Lightweight Pulley OE size -K&N Panel Filter -Kartboy Short Shifter -TiC shifter pivot bushing -TiC rear diff bushings - comfort Interior -PIoneer P4000DVD double din unit -Garmin Nuvi 670 GPS -some Audiovox XM radio from Futureshop -DIY S203 style dash trim -"JDM" red hazard -WRX front (heated) seats <-- come factory on SE -some air freshner The car is coming along well considering I've only had it for about a year and had been a student this whole time. I've got much more planned for this car including things like various types of bracing to strengthen the frame, such as fender braces, and things like a proper coil over kit. Other's include a third set of wheels with all season tires on them for fall and spring months when its not cold enough for winter tires, but not hot enough for summer tires. I thank your support and wish all the other NA Scoobs best of luck!

2006 CGM 2.5i, Ready for anything.
So as last minute as this is I would have been there right from the beginning had my internet not been down for 2 weeks.
Newest photo: Headed home after OC car show where i took 3rd in Best Subaru class. (current photo) "No, no, no, I'm not putting pink on my car." Trust me, I love STi pink as much as the next person but I'm not about to put another girl driven Subaru on the road which blatantly reads "LEG HUMP ME." I'm not about to go parade my car around with a huge pink STi logo on the side and expect people to think this is a good looking car. This 2.5i was built by the tomboy in me, so regardless of my gender, the subie demands respect purely on the basis that's it's a work of art, and not because of who I am. It's a mix of street, rally, and show, literally. This car has seen RallyCross, Hot import nights, and most importantly is my DD. All of the detailing, with the exception of one, has been by me since the start, I love my car, and I love driving it***8230; hard. (first meet ever, totally stock) I purchased my subie which i named "Jett" (yes he is a boy) in May 2006 thinking this would be merely a nice DD having no idea whatsoever what world the car was about to suck me into. My first real taste of how awesome this car was, was when I decided to drive down to Maryland to the nautilus run where 72+ cars showed up to caravan around and cruise. I knew instantly when I saw the picture of all of them taking up the entire shoulder, that I was hooked. (not a black and white hah, i was going for a colorless scoob) After that I immediately began typing up mod list upon mod list and reading up on how cars worked, ditching friends to spend some late nights on howstuffworks.com ***8230; I had no knowledge of cars, this was my first one. So at first it was cosmetics - too scared to "void my warranty" and a newb would be***8230; I took the badges off, swapped the tails, and went wingless. Not long after I saved my poor college student ass off and got a set of crucial springs which was my first real mod to the car, me and my friend Jim installed them in his driveway (big thanks!) and they were perfect. (rallyX @ Grandview) I began to get bored of the twisties***8230; I thought about AutoX but honestly, it never caught on with me. I decided I wanted to actually put my car to use and have some good old traditional dirt flinging fun with it. I saw a post for a RallyX one day and decided to grab my friend with the FXT and drive over. It was the most exhilarating best day of my life, I was scared ****less. To my surprise I placed 31/37... not bad considering i had never driven on dirt, i had just learned what all the cones were telling me to do, and i only went Off Course once. (I was going around the course beforehand picking up all the cones that were laying down by accident... this guy from the SCCA got a good laugh out of that). I will definitely be attending the one coming up. (right after wheels were put on) The main switchup in my cars path from full on rally-obsessive turned to show cars when I met my amazing boyfriend, Phil at WBM last year (Knightmare69 on here). He asked me to show with him in the spring so we quickly (in only a few months) installed a lip, sideskirts, new hood with scoop, harnesses, harness bar, did a seat swap, got wheels and tires, installed horns, painted custom parts, intake, pulley, etc. All of the work was done by us (with the exception of the wheel/tire mount thanks to Mickeys and the paint by the bodyshop). It was insane but it came together in the end. I have a couple of shows planned out for the future, and the HIN I showed at was a crazy experience but overall awesome. (HIN VA) (seat swap day, seats were still dirty from the basement, whoops) A lot of people have been against a lot of the things i've done on my car and a lot of people have told me things that I now find ridiculous. Suggestions on what mods to do, letting some idiot put a pos ricer "custom" fartcan on my car and telling me it was just as good, they've told me I would tear off the greddy lip in a second, not to put a wrx hood on, not to do this, not to do that, and in the end, I really decided to say screw it and mod it with every little detail, and every part i had my heart set on, and I really love what came out of it. Jett has definitely grown up. Future plans for more engine work someday (he's peppy as he is... but more couldn't hurt), a colormatched ARC reverse scoop, light bar, and maybe some rear aprons... but I really want to keep the things i "stick on" to my car at a minimum. WedsSport blue lugnuts are in the mail, and hopefully will help make the blues pop a little more, and the rear window spoiler is sitting in my room all boxed up. I hope that covers everything, if I think of anything else, I'll be sure to post up. Thanks everyone I hope you love Jett as much as i do. Mod list is below! Interior ***8226; 2004 WRX front and rear seat swap ***8226; Sparco 4-point harnesses ***8226; Sparco harness bar ***8226; JDM hazard button ***8226; Custom shift knob by WC Lathewerks ***8226; Pioneer D3 In-dash navigation system ***8226; Pioneer D3 iPod hook-up cable to glove box ***8226; STi floor mats Exterior ***8226; Greddy gracer front lip - painted to OEM color ***8226; STi sideskirts - painted to OEM color ***8226; Custom painted hella horns ***8226; WRX OEM hood swap - also repainted to OEM color ***8226; Custom painted headlights ***8226; Custom painted front grill badge ***8226; 05 WRX OEM fog lights with yellow lamin-X ***8226; Enkei NT03+M 17x8 +48 wheels ***8226; Falken FK-452 235/40/17 tires ***8226; OEM wingless hood swap - debadged ***8226; 04/05 OEM tail light swap ***8226; RallyArmor polyurethane mud flaps ***8226; PIAA wiper blades ***8226; DIY RA-R grill trim in blue ***8226; AWD tow sticker - custom for Subaru ***8226; 6k HID headlight conversion ***8226; Modified Ureshi rear window spoiler ***8226; WedsSport lug nuts Engine ***8226; Blitz nur spec "R" exhaust ***8226; SPT battery tie down ***8226; SPT oil cap ***8226; Injen short ram intake ***8226; Snorkus delete ***8226; Cobb lightweight crank pulley Suspension ***8226; Crucial racing sport springs ***8226; Custom painted front strut tower bar Last edited by siqq subie; 06-20-2008 at 01:37 PM. |

NJ 25rs looks cool and clean. Also, an n/a built for n/a fun. You don't need to imitate a turbos looks to have a torquey, sticking fun track car. I'm a sucker for the front nose mods. Nice build! Super sexy!
