They come with stainless bolts, u-nuts, and rubber washers, and use existing mounting holes in the car (no drilling)

Got my RSB yesterday, excited to get some of the stuff I've bought the past couple of months on my car:

Hella SuperTones
STi RSB
Rally Armor Mudflaps
Led Footwell Lighting

I also bought the 08-11 footwell lighting kit, I know it isn't plug an play with our Impreza, but I figured I should be able to make it work somehow.

So I installed the 22 mm rsb yesterday. Definately stuffer than the 19 mm one. I am actually quite pleased with it! It does make the car a little ass happy but not as badly as I thought. It takes a lot to get the rear to come out a bit. Very fun to drive!! Still looking to get a front sway bar but still have to wait on cusco. On the whiteline site they list a 22 mm front bar but that seems a little redundant as that's what the front is stock

I'm waiting on a front one to come out as well.

Or does the STI/WRX front sway bar fit?

no, our front suspension is redesigned, the rear is either the same or similar enough that the bars are the same.

I held it up under the car to do a quick check and it looks like its maybe an inch too long. I'll be replacing my front endlinks with some poly ones some time this week so I'll take a proper measurement when I do that.

Which model did you get from flapatax? The one's for the Impreza? Did you have to make any modifications during the installation or is it straightforward? Mind commenting on any difficulties you had while installing them?

Where did you get the 22mm rear's from? Did you also upgrade the endlinks?

I purchased it from infamous performance. I also got the poly endlinks from them also. Good pricing but not a fan of the customer service.

I already purchased them along with the front sway bar. However the sway bar did not get shipped and they are just laying around in my garage so I figure I may as well install them in preparation for when I finally upgrade the sway bar

Look at my flapatax link, there is a picture of the fogs with a yellow overlay, they are not darkened much if at all, and look 100X better IMHO

Yes, but pulling the wheels makes it much easier to bolt them on.

With the correct U-nuts he will now supply it is not a difficult install, you can go look in your wheel wells and see the holes that you install the bolts in, they are the same ones the OEM versions use (I think).

For about $60 it is almost cheaper than doing it yourself, and you don't need to fret about the install hardware, or the material, or where to drill the holes, or the pattern...you get the idea.

Rallyarmor look cool with the logo, but you will pay a lot more to have that logo, and the function is no different between the flapatax and the rallyarmor.

Contact him, he is easy to work with and the price is the same on and off ebay I think. If not, ask him to list some and I am sure he will.

That depends, Rally Armor makes several types of mud flaps, and not all of them are heavy urethane.

Flapatax are all heavy urethane (3/16" thick), so the material is comparable to the expensive Rally Armor (I think). This is because I first checked Rally Armors site but they don't specify the thickness of their urethane flaps (or I could not find it, for the $150 version).

Rally Armor does also sell a cheaper version (without mounting hardware I believe) that appear to be much thinner.

I doubt either RallyArmor nor Flapatax makes their own proprietary blend of urethane, but who knows.

PS: Not on the payroll of flapatax, I bought them off ebay, worked with the vendor (Pumpkyn) to get the right hardware, he marked them where he thought they would need to be drilled, I drilled and installed them, and told him that they fit, so now he can sell them to others. Very pleased with the process and the price, partly because having the Rally Armor logo on the flap means squat to me.

I'm with Zeeper. Great customer service from Flapatax, I like the look more, and not to mention a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm a big fan!!
