clutch pedal spring snapped!
So the spring on my clutch pedal snapped this morning. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? How much of a pain is it to fix this? The pedal has dropped all the way to the floor and will not engage, even when pulled up manually.

You have bigger problems than a spring. The clutch should still work even without the return spring.

Reply to an old post, but, basically you shouldn't weld/heat any spring UNLESS you go through a heat treating process. Heating it changes it's properties, one being it is more likely to crack/break where it goes from heated area to unheated area.

not to mention the filler material wont have anywhere near the same strength as the rest of it and will just break again.

Junkyard for sure. Or OfferUp part out. Best of luck!
