Simply put, are all 5mt from 2003 to 2011 the same? Wiki says it is called the Revised 5MT and I have an 06 2.5i with a dying center differential, and it seems more cost effective to just buy a used trans and swap it in.
Can I swap any of these years in and it wouldn't mess anything up? I read somewhere the 5mt from 06 - 07 have different ratios, but would it matter than much if I swapped in say an 09 trans? This is for a weekend rallycross car, not a primary driver.

FYI I did run through the pertinent faq and they were educational but just want to confirm whether or not the supposed different ratios matter with the rear differential.
