Default You know you're having a good week when...

Last Wednesday you drop $2000 on a 50/50 stock. You go to Mexico for a week and come back to this -->
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=DNDN&t=3m
*I have been following this for years, so I'm not a point and shoot investor*

Then you find out that you have Friday off, leaving you with a three day work week. God, I'm loving this.

They finished a phase on a cancer treatment drug, correct?

They are still undervalued, according to a friend from Smith Barney.

very much so. They did not finish a trial, they were given initial approval for the FDA panel to approve Provenge. I'm buying shares like it's my job and telling all of my friends about it. Think of it this way, if it fails, you lost X$ on a bad investment and you can harvest the loss for taxes. If it gets approved and you hold for 1yr, you are looking at a multiplier in a minimum of 5 over the next year. That's a good bet to me.

And it's not a drug, it's an immuno-therapy for prostate cancer (ie cancer vaccine). it's been very successful in trials and they have a breast cancer "drug" in the pipeline. If it gets approved, it's going to fly, espcially because the demographic shift of the baby-boomers getting ass cancer.

it's still underpriced. General concensus is if approved it will be trading at 6-12x earnings within a year. They are looking at sales of over $1b annually from provenge -->if approved, minimumm multiple of 5x, 2 years 10x+. I bot another $1000 yesterday.
You MUST bea able to stomach the risk of total loss though. If it is not approved, it will be a $2 stock.

I've been researching this company for 3 years. This is my industry, it's what I do for a living. The science is good, there is nothing else that can touch it. Even if it is not approved, there is another phase III trial that will be completed in 2008. I am long Dendreon and have been since 2004.

sorry, didn't see this. My bad for getting defensive. Just been watching this company get crushed by shorts for the last three years. Was kind of cool though on Monday when there were margin calls on multiple hedge funds totalling $150m at one brokerage house alone.

Hear you there. I lost thousands when my PM decided to sell an entire position the day after I sold and compliance busted my trade.

How many pizzas on average do you deliver to them, and have they been ordering more lately?
