Default OEM Underseat Sub for CP635U1 (2014 WRX)

Probably should have asked here, but looking for direction. I have the CP635U1 from a 2011 Forester limited, and want the OEM underseat sub. Which would be the recommended route, the Forester or WRX/STI underseat sub? I am not sure about the differences.

Hey Corvid -

Been doing a lot of research into this as I also have a cp635u1. Spoke with SVXdc and decided to go aftermarket. There is a direct sub out port on the radio that he makes a harness for and I'm just trying to decide between the Kicker 11HS8, Pioneer TS-WX120A, and the Kenwood KSC-SW11.

The oem rear sub does not have any gain adjustment or crossover on it...so its a solid set volume and takes up a lot of space. the under seat version is over priced in my opinion for what it is.

Def interested in this. Keep us posted in which route you decide to go and your opinioms on it. I also have the CP635U1 and wanted to get the underseat sub.
For me personally aftermarket is not the best option as i need the trunk space. Some of it already occupied by a meth thank.

Will do, might be a while. I haven't been able to find anything at all about this. I just really don't want to bother with having a trunk sub, especially if for some reason I have to have the trunk area cover open.

Hey corvid. I did not. I've been holding off as I might sell the cp635u1 and my siriusxm mod for it and do a tablet install. Figured I'd hold.offnon sub until I decide on that this spring/summer. U?
