If a teacher is inclined to shoot kids, a law won't make any difference. The good guys obey laws, those are the people we want armed. Bad guys ignore laws, that's why they're called criminals. Only law abiding citizens obey "gun free zones," criminals ignore them. They're willing to ignore laws against assault and murder, what makes you think they'll obey a "gun free zone" law?

Those who want to blame inanimate objects for crime are basically saying people aren't responsible for their actions.

In your way of thinking then the kids should be armed as well to be protected from the mentally unstable teachers. Oh wait...that means everyone will be armed?

We're going back to the times of wild wild west here - it's gonna be amazing If people here (as in the US, not nasioc) were so passionate about other things like they are about guns the country and the economy and education and health rates wouldn't be in the gutter like they are.

This isn't an attack on anyone here but rather an opinion on how this logic doesn't make any sense. And the logic is 'lets arm everyone up.'

It's stupid and silly that a civilian can have a bigger arsenal of weaponry than a sheriff and to think that's normal and to think that people should feel safe because of that.

It's okay to argue your beliefs but it's stupid to believe that amendments shouldn't change just like the times and circumstances do. Laws should be dynamic and should reflect the current state of the world. Just because it was okay to hang your neighbour because you believe he or she is a witch decades ago doesn't mean that it' still okay to do so.

So anyone have any plans coming up?

Also I think I saw the Forest Service has a shooting ban in effect while the dry heat wave is going on.

If you guys ever make it down to Tucson you should stop in at Pima Pistol.
They have competitions every weekend.
I shoot USPSA and Steel Workers (like uspsa but all steel). Been doing it for about 4 years now I guess.

I got a smoking deal on a Glock 35 so I picked it up as my new competition gun.

Anyone else have quality issues with Remington 230grn white box target rounds? I recently went through a couple boxes of .45acp from wallmart and some rounds failed to eject, then a couple didn't go off in my glock until reloaded. Upon examining one, the bullet was actually loose in the shell. Both my g21c, and my buddies 1911 had the same ejection issue, his 1911 was hitting the target low and the rounds were abnormally weak. I've gone through thousands of those and never had problems. Used them because their low price and consistent quality. Any recomendations for a comparible round to use for plinking? Something a little hotter would be nice. I know I'll have to get into loading my own someday.

Did you buy it after the shortage? Is 45 available up there readily?

I would take pictures and contact remington, if rounds are coming out under loaded...yikes.

They should compensate you one way or another from a business stand point.

No problem yet finding small amounts of .45 acp at local shops here and there but its been a month or so since I went. I threw the shells and boxes away already so I have no evidence to produce for remington. The same day I was trying to zero my mosin with old surplus ammo and one of the casings was split at the collar where the shell gets smaller, that got me a bit un-easy about my ammo also.

I like Federal ammo and their American Eagle line. We use that at work and its good ammo.

I've always had problems with the white box being dirty but it always shot fine.

I've had terrible luck with 9mm WWB. 5 boxes over an extended number of years and the quality was always poor. my buddy on the other hand has always had good luck with the .45acp.

Does this count? My old paintball gun 2005 Planet Eclipse Ego with some mods. Shot at 25rps over a chronograph, had lots of fun with it. I would like to sell all my stuff and get maybe get a real firearm no that I'm older, just got no idea where to start.

If you are buying just for recreation nothing is better than a good 22 rifle. Cheap to buy and cheap to feed.
