Yes I have, this thread is well over a decade old which suits me because the Forester I'm working on is an 04 JDM.

I'm putting 04 Forester Cross Sport HID's in a standard Forester 04.

The problem I am facing is that the under bonnet headlight loom contains under the leveller 3 pin connectors for the electric motors at the headlight locations already wired into the OEM loom, but where the dash switch plugs into under the dash to connect to the OEM loom, well there is nothing obvious. There is a spare white plug with seven wires coming off it but I think that may be for rear fog lights, not sure.

Picture below shows the dash wiring loom for 04 Forester that has HID leveller switch connector point at the dash under the steering wheel location!
(B132) is the dash plug (yellow) that should be there, but is it? Is it hidden or is it a different loom on non HID variants???

The question is, does the Forester 04's just have a common under bonnet wiring loom that is used on all variants and is the interior behind the firewall wiring loom the same?

Or does the interior wiring loom change for each different model?

I'm hoping that the redundant HID levelling plug is still there hiding but I have not yet found it!

I'm hoping that I can use the existing OEM wiring loom to connect up the HID levellers.

Is this clear and can you advise me?
