Stand alone harness bars are not safe. As such, Safe Drives does not sell any stand alone harness bars. If you want a safe harnes bar get the Autopower Street Sport Roll Bar.

Well, as I stated in my previous responce the GC Impreza Kit by Autopower will fit the first gen Legacy but only cars without a sunroof or you'll have to remove the sunroof... In the Impreza you can keep the back seat installed but the Legacy I really have no idea (I would think so). See the above link for pricing and PM me for a shipping quote if your serious about getting a kit.

Thanks for your interest everyone!

Really? Dang it. I just wanted one to have to use at the track. I thought its better than not having one to secure my harness to?

Or is there a harness I can use without having a harness bar?

Do a search on any auto related forum and you'll find that this subject has been beaten to death. The short answer is that if you want to use harnesses for anything other than autocross than at a minimum you need something like the Autopower Roll bars. Period. I do hope this helps.

Bump.. Anybody using one of these? I'd really like the street-sport model for the BD, but only if it fits...

Thumbs up

Hi All,

BC Legacy? The frist gen Impreza kit for Autopower will fit the BC Legacy sedan that does not have a sunroof. Sunroof car owners need to call me.

BD Legacy? I'm working on it.

Hmm.......

I already have half the interior ripped out......

But I do have a sunroof, and would like to keep it for at least a while longer (until I get another car for DD duty)

Sorry to bump this baby again from the dead, but I'm in need of a full bolt in cage for my '96 Legacy GT project and I have been referred to you guys by, well these boys...

I have the full interior stripped out of the car, so I can easily take measurements to see if there is anything you currently offer that would fit the car, or if you want the measurements to relay to Autopower, I can also create and send you a CAD file with the specs of the cage, as long as you tell me where the ideal mounting points for the cage are, or would be...

Hi,

Please give me a call if you need more information but we do not currently have a bolt in kit available for the Legacy.
