3G legacy auto tranny codes

So auto tranny on my 2003 with only 105k miles went last week. Just want to find replacement and swap. Car is at shop and I asked for the code.

They tell me there is only 1 code for that generation auto trans: 4EAT. I know the MT have a bunch of codes (long strings) but are all AT only known as 4EAT?

Would like to find one on line for under $600 with under 100k miles, but don't want to buy if it wont fit. Can anyone confirm that codes or provide a list like this one but for auto tranny?

The 4EAT was the primary 4-speed auto used at the time. I believe any phase II from a 00-03 2.5l Subaru should work. There were some changes in 04/05 depending on model.
