No Turn Signal Indicators
So I changed out the instrument panel bulbs to LED's. At first everything worked fine. No I do not have any turn signal INDICATOR lights in the gauge panel. Funny thing is that all exterior turn signals work. So, I put two more new LED bulbs in the panel thinking it would solve the issue. I still have no blinker lights on panel. Any ideas? This is for my 95 LX wagon.
Thanks! Mike

Sometimes LED bulbs do not play well with systems not designed to use them - especially inexpensive LED bulbs. |

Thanks for the reply. Oddly, the original bulbs do not work either. One piece of info I left out because I don't think it matters is that the turn signal on one fender is inop. It may not even have a bulb in it. The front bumper and rear tail light turn signals work just fine. I'm suspecting the bulb bases are just not making good contact with the circuit board????

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to give an update to give closure to this thread. I had the instrument cluster out again this past week and noticed that one of the copper traces on the circuit board had a break in it. It was the one that leads to the driver side blinker. I dropped a bead of solder where the break was, and both turn signal indicators work now......Yay!!! |
