I was aiming for 300 whp on my 2.0 on 21-22psi. I'd probably guess you would make somewhere in the same ballpark whp-wise, but kick my ass torque-wise on your 2.5. What other mods do you have on your car?? |

As far as the engine's mods? Uhh lets see.. its a wrx, but
2.5 block 2L heads (RA Gearset) APS 525 FMIC APS 65MM CAI Turbosmart 50/50 3" Catless TBE Perrin Fuel Rails STi Pinks VF22 Protuned @ 355awtq 295awhp at 21psi, quickly falling off GT Spec Gen II Header I think thats about it for the 'engine', but I was wondering how the Blouch unit does compared to most 16g's. I'm looking for a TD06-18G to replace my VF22 (with injectors of course). |

that's a sweet setup you got there, but with the 2.5 block I would've definitely went either 18 or 20g right from the get-go. Especially with the RA's you got.
Blouch's Evo3 16g flows almost as much as an 18g, but has better spool b/c it's a td05. For a streetable 2.0 I think this turbo matches up perfectly, and mitsu turbos are known to be a bit more reliable. I've heard nothing but praise for Blouch turbos, and the place that I was going to get my car tuned at prefers them over any other kind if that makes a difference. |
