Tacos have been known for being expensive in the used market.
You can expect the Wranglers to depreciate a lot more. The newest generation has been priced high and built in very high volumes. Dealers are now having trouble moving vehicles, and that often results in discounts that affect residual values. |

Number 7, thank you, even though I have no plans to get rid of it.

Happy to see both of my cars made the list (#1 & #10). Glad I purchased my 2014 JKUR for $36k before Jeep went insane with their pricing. A similar 2019 was around $50k.
The source article breaks it out by cars, trucks, SUVs, EVs, hybrids, etc. https://www.iseecars.com/cars-that-h...e-study#v=2019 The lowest depreciating EVs are on par with the highest depreciating sports cars at around 60-70% depreciation over 5 years. Ouch. |

I just traded in my ridgeline after only owning it for 18 months (so long wonderful truck). I put nothing down on the ridgeline. I was able to trade it in for a tiny bit more than I owed. They most certainly do hold their value. But when you switch cars as often as I do, you learn a few tricks on what to buy, when to buy and how to buy.

My wifes '13 FJ Cruiser was ~$35k new, can sell it for $28-29k today, with 60k on the odo. It's crazy how the value has been retained in this particular truck.

People are getting RTL-E's for $35.6k, and BE's for $37-38k. Great time for a steal. 2020's will have the 9 spd (no thanks) and standard ADAS across all trims. They are removing several trims also. Now is the time if you want one for a killer price and killer interest rate. .9% for up to 72 months is incredible. Best of luck. The SH-AWD system is very similar to the RS. Rear half shafts torque vector, the real way, not brake based so it oversteers slightly around a bend. Handles better (pavement) than any truck on the road. The V6 is excellent paired with the 6 spd with optimal shift points. 2020 announcement should be soon as they start shipping at the end of the month. MMC. |

We are adding another family member. Need the extra space the Ridgeline could not provide unfortunately. I tried to talk my wife into giving up her Legacy, but she loves it.
So it came down between the Ascent and the Pilot. Their is practically nothing between them in specs. The Subaru dealer who sold me my last three cars made me a great deal. So Subaru number 10 landed. So far so good. OH here is our new family memeber Wyatt a 10 week old Brittany Spaniel. |

Great to see the WRX on the list. I’m still loving mine after nearly 5 years of ownership.

I saw a 2014 RS7 advertised for $50k the other day. Figured something must be wrong with it. Look it up and, nope... that's the going price for a 5 year old car that was $130k new. Blew my mind. $80k just gone...just because.
