damn, that's a nice looking WRX. nice to bring it back from the dead.

Money: so how much are in on top of the $5k initial price? (you don't have to answer if you don't want to).

Time: how much time have you spent on it?

in all honesty because ive done the work mechanically and had my uncle do the body work were at about $9k with the trans well be at about $10k which to me is a freaking steal for a brand new car

as far as time goes i could have this car done months ago but with money issues and unforseen problems with the transmission plus parts not being in stock and so on its been about 7-8 months when it shouldve been done in no more than 2 but hey i have a lot of patience

Wow, this thread is old. The car looks great, well before you had to pull the engine and trans. I'm starting to pull my engine tomorrow and hopefully will order a shortblock from Maxwell Power in the next few days.

Well I got another setback -___- the lift was busy all day and I won't be able to go work on it till next weekend AND turns out the new trans I bought has water in it so I gotta flush it clean out but at least I'm a few steps closer to achieving what's taken 10 months
