hey guys i just moved to hawaii (oahu to be more specific) from pennsylvania, sadly i had to leave my 04 sti back home with my parnets, has anyone on here moved from the mainland to the islands and had their car shipped over? if so would you mind giving me some info on how to get that underway, or if it would be (cant believe im saying this) more worth it to sell it back home and buy another sti out here? also are there any meets over here or anything to check out other scoobys? any info would be great! thanks!

go home, drive to LA, drop it off at matson in long beach and pay them $800, fly back to o'ahu, wait a couple weeks, go get your car at sand island.

Whats going on! I will be heading to Hawaii Soon and i am coming from Japan. Just wanted to stick my nose out to all the locals and see whats up with the subie world in Hawaii. Since i cant bring my current car with me I am looking for a GC8 that i can rebuild with a GDA/B. I can try to get something from main land and send it. I am feared that upkeep and availability are going to be hard since its an island. So any insight would be greatly appreciated. stickers cool too. I have been rocking the original NASIOC sticker here in Japan for a bit now.
