Default chirping sound from exhaust

there is a weird chirping sound from my exhaust if i blip the throttle...


i step on the gas...rpms go up then while rpms go down chirp-chirp-chirp... its weird my car runs fine but it just bothers me cuz it does'nt sound normal....

please help thanks

Try the Factory Forced Induction forum. They handle WRX issues there. This is the Naturally Aspirated forum for Legacies, RSes, SVXes, etc.

I heard it's the tips on the exhaust. If you have the stock muffler that is. I forget who, but he said he solved the problem by cutting off the old tips and putting new ones on.
I have a stock WRX exhaust on my car, I sort of enjoy the chirping.
