There are a lot of motor-vehicle laws that are well worth your time, this is not one of them.
If your really concerned about freedom behind the wheel, then issues like stop-light cameras and speed traps are what you should be worried about. (Speed traps as in, roads with posted speed limits well below what was recommended by the road survey crew.) |

I haven't run a front plate since 1996. It's only a problem if you make your car LOOK like a problem, e.g. tint, gangster lean, neon lights...

its their discretion, but the bottom line is every state only allows a certain amount of tint when approaching a vehicle, they have to be able to see in |

The reason for the tint laws in NJ dates back to when a State Trooper was gunned down while approaching a tinted car. I don't recall the exact details but it was back in the '90s I believe.

same in Ny, no tint on front and I Agree with that. I also think you should also need to have a front license plate. If a women is or someone else is being stalked/followed. If someone hits you. tailgating. General a-holes. Dumb gansta mofos who think its funny to wave guns at you. Lots of good reasons for license plates on front. The only reason these people don't want them on theirs is cause other people get away without having them.
