Default 2018 MFD Harness plugs.

I want to build the harness to put it in a 2017 STI anyone know the 12 pin (female) and 24 pin (male) harness ends that I will need?

I'm going to assume he's looking to make his own harness, but needs the connectors and pins. I'd be interested in knowing part numbers as well.

Thanks for doing this research.

Where did you source the MFD from? did you buy it new from the dealer or luck out and find a wrecked 2018?

I sent an inquiry to Subispeed to see if they would create the harness. If there is enough interest perhaps they will.

You really need to talk to "SVXdc" and read that thread that was posted earlier. Subispeed isn't going to make a harness.

Subispeed won't make the harness. At least the person i conversed with. She did not seem to understand what I was asking.

Response: "To be honest we have dropped all intentions with the radios due to the lack of support we can offer our customers on this particular product. Therefore i dont think we will be able to create a harness, sorry!"

This seems like a pretty simple project if someone who has done it would just post the DIY with necessary part #'s. etc.

I'm going down this rabbit hole as well. I believe I've found the 24-pin connector for the MFD after doing research on installing LOC's on my '16's H/K stereo system. The 24-pin connector at the H/K amp in the trunk looks identical, and some sources told me the plug for that is the Metra Electronics AX-TOYCAM3. I've ordered that yesterday, as well as the MFD display (Found one used on eBay WITH the leather hood with red stitching for $175!). I'll let y'all know if it's the correct plug. I'm aware some wiring/pins will need to be moved around, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm still trying to find the 12-pin socket, though. Think I'm going to order both of the ones linked here just to try and see if that works. If I can't find the socket, I'm just going to use posi-taps..... Which I really don't want to do, but they seem more secure than the way my buddy did it with just jumper wires/pin's....

If anybody has found the correct 12-pin socket, let me know!

I'll update this thread once I receive my parts in.

Did you receive these connectors? Were they correct ones? Have any spares if so?

Working on a harness for this since it seems like nobody is making them. Will update when my parts arrive for it.

Cool, the link didn't work, but I found it by searching. Hopefully this link will work for those looking. He is charging $50 for his.

I am also wondering how hard these are to find used. Ebay has nothing for 2018. Ton of 15-17.
