Grimmspeed V2 turbo heat shield
I ended up picking up the V2 heat shield for the project car (missing the oem one). No extra heat wrap, ceramic coat, or anything special, just bare metal heat shield. Installation of the shield itself along with new brackets was straight forward, my only gripe is that the lower bracket did not come with hardware so I had to do some scavenging of my own stuff laying around. Once installed and driven for about half an hour with one or two light pulls I popped the hood and immediately noticed it was about 10-15 degrees less hot! Way better than I expected! Overall a good looking product with a quality fitment and feel to it. Although I have no reference of how the competitors products are, I'm satisfied with this one. 10/10 no doubt.

Sound
After installing the heat shield, did you notice a difference in sound when starting the car? Sort of like the heat shield was acting like a tiny echo chamber?
