Hoping to hear more from people rocking a 20g or green size turbo. Want to hear more where you see full boost.

Meth does not affect spool. At 20 PSI, I'm willing to bet he's running pump gas.

have you seen a 18g in person before?

the thing is small. even the 20g isn't really that big but thats the limit there.

i just finished my set up. i'm going to take my car down to the cobb facility here in dallas, tx and get it dyno'd. then i'll post my results.

That's a matter of perspective, but no I don't consider the 18g 'big'.

if there was a way to make ej's spin really high without asploding i would bolt on a gt35r and go for it.

im kinda surprised by the small amount of big turbo 2.0's..when parts prices go down i think we will see more fast subarus.

i think most subaru people are set-n-forget and dont want to be playing with their cars too much, hence most of them going ej257's + fpgreens...easy 350-400 whp depending on the dyno.

id love to build a 35r 2.0 or 2.2 and put it in a gm2 chassis or something.

Read Audio's post.....and I've only been tuned with a External Gate so i'm not sure. With the correct spring in the EWG i doubt it would be a substantial different or "faster".

Meth/EWG/AM Header/ High 3700-Low 3800rpms i'll hit full boost.

No it was with meth and it's actually more like 18-19psi; 20psi when it's cold. Yea......tuned very conservatively (WOT 10.9-11.2) with 50/50.

At the time I wanted a reliable 350 wheel and maintain some reliability.

But, the hunger for more power has taken over all reasoning again.
I will be going 75-100% meth and 24+psi here shortly, leaning it out, and add some timing.

wow i guess then your engine will explode anyways then. if your scared then why mod anyways. your in the same boat either way since you stated you have high mileage. it will happen sooner or later, it's the price we pay. no motor lasts forever.

yeah most of us big turbo guys have that covered. many of us have ppgs or sti 6spds. it would be retarded to have 500whp on a stock wrx tranny..

i had a 55trim, which is bigger than a green a little while ago on my stock 205. ewg, meth, all the supporting mods. right around 360whp running 24psi. max boost around 5200rpms. highway beast.

btw i'm on stock tranny and it holds up just fine. dont see any problem as long as you slip the clutch when you shift.

nope i wouldnt be that would be the other guy with the 55 trim. i had to get my own motor that was fully built when i blew connecting rod three.

i will be getting tuned i hope within the next two weeks. i just ordered the turbo from a guy on here and have to order a oil feed line tomorrow and wait for everything to get in and install it >500 miles to go before i can get it tuned. i am insanely excited!

24psi boost.
I asked for 350 whp and thats what i got. We just stopped at that. I didn't try to go for glory so some will post graphs with more HP, but understand i asked for the whp and i got it, little different then it usually goes.

* Yellow line is a PE1820 turbo CRAP POS *

Totaly loved the setup, i wouldnt run anything smaller on the 2.0 then a FP Green.
Car had
TD04
18G
VF39
PE1820
3076r
In that order.
Hey Token, how does this kit stand up to daily driving on the street/interstate. I just sold my 18G setup and really want to go rotated my self and I've heard that as far as spool and drivability the GT3076r with a .63 A/R feels just like a VF39 with alot more headroom. Just curious what your opinion. I just kinda flew through the thread so sorry if this has already been posted.

Thanks

So why do you like lag? Is it that you LOVE when it actually comes on strong?

i don't know it might be the spark plugs.. i didn't replace them for a long time and they're ngk coppers. i've heard they're suppose to be replaced pretty often? mine probably have like 20k+ on them.

i checked cels and it's misfire on cylinders 1,2 and 3. i hope it's spark plugs... i removed plugs from 1 and 3. they had a bunch of white stuff all over it.

#1 front passenger side
#3 rear passenger side
#2 front driver side
#4 rear driver side

(front = front of the car, rear = close to firewall)

is this correct?
