Default 17 forester eyesight swap

Hello, just wondering if anyone has swapped their oem halogen headlights out on 2.5i to the eyesight led/hid headlights from touring model of same year?

I know for a fact the eyesight motors are separate but not sure if the original harness is pinned for plug n play.

Thread for reference:

Headlights are not specific to Eyesight.
You are confusing SRF (Steering Responsive Fog lamps) where a car equipped with Eyesight turns on the corresponding sides fog lamp when turning in low light conditions to assist Eyesights peripheral vision in the direction of turn.

As far as the LED headlamps - not plug-n-play on a halogen equipped car.

I'm not confused about anything. I want to swap halogen for hid/led but don't need the eyesight motors. I believe the housings should have ballasts built into the bottom and it should be pnp w no eyesight if they follow historical suit.

Default 17 forester eyesight swap

Only thing that worries me is the drl highs on half power to led drl voltage delta.

Bump can someone snap a pic of the rear housing? There should be two plugs underneath the high/low/parking that I believe are the motors... if they are exclusively motors for eyesight and the other connectors will work... then I hope the ballast is mounted underneath the housing rendering... yes they will swap without working motors.

If someone can snap a pic on their XT I would greatly appreciate it!
