Default EJ205 swapped into 2001 Impreza RS

The project at hand here is the swap of a USDM EJ205 into a 2001 Impreza RS
couple (GM6 chassis). I'm going to keep everything here as short and simple as possible.

Saw the ad for the car on June 3rd, 2020. Bought it the next day for $800. Below are screenshots of the ad when I found the car and a couple of pictures of the day me and friends picked the car up.

The car came with the stock RS 5 speed transmission and I've decided to keep that one since I won't be pushing much power anytime soon.

To get a better look at the drivetrain, I removed the exhaust. At this point, I had a small amount of tools. Quickly discovered I would have to buy an impact wrench and many other tools. There was one bolt that held the whole exhaust and it took me a good amount of effort to get it out.

Cool. It's a great swap and I'm sure you will enjoy the extra power. Eventually that transmission will break, but just plan for replacing it when it happens and you will be all good.
