![]() Below the battery is another hump coupler. You just remove the couple on top of the battery and move the pipe.
Yes you cna get the pipes in red. The kit has been fitted with 20g, 16g, 68HTA, VF39, etc..... Out of the 100+ kits sold over the last year I have yet to here of a STi style turbo that didn't fit. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of the Front end of the Sti. Quote:

On my first GB on legacygt.com back when I was just a member on the site and no one know if I could pull it off or how well the kit would work I got 35 deposits. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...-126386p2.html By the time the kits got in I had sold out of the extra I had bought. I'm well know on Legacygt.com. So now over a year later and 3 GB and hundreds of positive post about the kit I keep getting pm's about making a kit for the STi. So I made it and I only got 2 orders on this site. I don't know if it's the economy or STi market is too small. This is the only kit that lets you keep your stock crash beam, overflow tank, foglights, and without hacking your car. But, there is no demand it no reason to make the kit. If we don't get more I just refund the 2 that paid. I will still offer my '05-'09 LGT and '08 WRX kits. Last edited by RacerX Engineering-BRMQ; 03-03-2011 at 09:57 AM. |

![]() I understand there is a frustration element going on here for you since people asked you for the kit but aren't joining the GB. I just want to know for those of us who want the kit, is there a price at which you can make only two kits? $700? $750?
Thanks |

The routing for this kit is so different than most kits that it creates a bit of skepticism. This is the only FMIC kit I've seen route back from the turbo and under the mess of wires and hoses. My thinking is, these extra bends and routing around the hotside and over the DP might negate the benefit of shorter piping. |

The only difference between this setup and my LGT and WRX kits is the last pipe on the coldside. If you want results I will copy and paste post for legacygt.com and 3gwrx.com |

![]() VF39 on e85 and 91 pump gas.
This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1436x749 and weights 62KB. IMO, its easier to attack a cyn with a wide low tq band than peak boost (unless you are an amazing driver). EDIT: the REFERENCE hp/tq = CA *****ty oxygenated 91oct pump post won't print here is link http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...-156905p2.html post #56 |

![]() "Can't get a better fit than racerx, I have one...."
"New Blouch 20G-XT #'s: 334whp/322wtq -91 octane" "Im happy with my RacerX fmic and stock vf46. I don't fell that much lag with a nice tune. " pm's "Hey there, Got the kit installed and picked up SIGNIFICANT power over the stock TMIC. 30 fl-lbs without a tune, and another 30 after a proper tune. I didn't see that coming, maybe that ceramic coating and the thermal dispersant work better than I thought! Since I tend to be a head case, and worry about wearing stuff out, would it be possible to pick up extra silicone couplings and a couple clamps? I just want some spares in the event of a failure. If this is possible, what would it cost? I'd prefer black but as a replacement, I'd take whatever. Also, any suggested torque for the clamps? Thank's a ton, I'm really liking the FMIC" My Itrader comments http://legacygt.com/forums/itrader.php?u=9198 Post on my install tread http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ll-131072.html Maybe the thing I forget is that to Nasioc I'm "New" But, On legacygt.com I have been on that site since '05 and everybody knows me there. This thread will give you all the background and hopefully fill in the blanks. To show you the kit works and your fears about the pipes are not warranted. Your kit is one of the more thought out kits keeping OEM parts in place, a huge bonus in my book. The only reason you don't have my deposit is whether I can budget the cost and time for an install and tune right now. |

![]() I kept getting request from to make a kit that would fit cars with air pumps. I started the GI thread to see what people wanted. They wanted to keep their unmodified crash beam, easier to install, keep stock overflow tank, keep fog lights, not have to hack their car and all at a fair price. So I made a custom FMIC for LGTs. I made the kit that people wanted not a take it or leave it kit. I paid for all the prototypes. You can see in the threads that people wanted to send money before it was done for my work. If it didn't work out I didn't feel it was right to take money. I just told them if I meet all of the demands don't leave me hanging and not buy the kit. At the time my wife had been laid off for about 6 months and this cost me thousands to get done. I had to start a LLC and DBA and start a real company with a tax ID, website and everything.(you also have to have all of that to be a vendor on NASIOC). When I was done I started taking deposits. Lecacygt.com didn't let me down and I got 43 orders and that was when the kit was @$815 shipped. Now over 100 kits sold all over the country and Canada, I'm here because people said I should come. I got alot of PM's about the STi kit so I made it and "cricket chirps" ![]() |

![]() And when I get the kit and get it on my sti I will shout from the rooftops how great it works with a built motor and a t60r. I've never even posted a part review or ppb thread but will to tell people specifically about this kit cuz I'm hoping that it works great and people have another option for great power without a fmic that is overkill for their needs.

![]() This is what I'm going to do. I going to send you a refund. I don't like to tie up other peoples money. I will contact you by the end of the month to let you and the other guy know if I can find someone that will make the pipe for the both of you. It's easier to have 10 full kits made then 2 pipes. But, if I can it should take about a week to be made once I find someone to do it.
You can also contact me at RACERXENGINEERING.COM 3gwrx.com = "racerx" legacygt.com = "itsme"

![]() This is unfortunate. Please let me know ASAP if you can get this done for us. My car will start going together at the end of this month and I would like to have something in my hands by the middle of April. If you can make this work it would be great since I really want to run your kit. If not I will have to do something else.
