Default Help installing pulleys

Im going to install my pulley set, But in the instructions it says to have a friend press the brake while you unbolt the main pulley, Do I need to do this? Im going to install it alone, so would I be able to do it?

Thanks for your quick answer

Default Giancarlo!!

Saludos

Exactly what I was going to say.
If you put the car in fifth and pull the e-brake you should be able to break the bolt loose.

Use a long breaker bar too for the crank pulley. You don't need a buddy to step on the brake. Just put the in 5th gear, pull the E-brake and put a block in front of a tire. After installation, torque the crank bolt to 150lb/ft. And, for the alternator and powersteering, use an impact wrench gun.
