Default Am i the only one who thinks Lucas should direct only Mexican novelas?

God he screwed up another great story line with his overly done melodrama and micro managing.. Turned another cast of otherwise brilliant actors into 2nd year arts students..

blah

i say

BLAH TO YOU LUCAS!!!!

univision is hiring..

I saw Episode III with my girlfriend's kid this morning and we both agreed it should have been directed by Quentin Tarantino.

But we both really liked it a lot just like it was, as well.

THANK YOU Drifter! I was just looking at the other thread (one of many i'm sure but it was the first i saw) about Ep3 and i can't believe what people are saying. It was total garbage. I totally agree about him somehow managing to take even great actors like Samuel L and make them look bad. The dialog is so forced and crappy, it's just unbearable. And then all the little jokes he puts in are soooo bad, they totally take away from the movie. I mean things like robots cracking lame jokes, or making funny noises, or wookees doing the Tarzan yell as they swing on ropes. THat kind of crap pulls you out of the movie and makes you roll your eyes. Not that i was able to get very much into that movie anyway.

Cliff notes - it sucked and lucas should be kicked out of hollywood.

If I look at the movie separately, yeah, it wasn't that great. But, comparing it to ep1 and ep2...it was much better. Actually, I found myself really upset during the part where AS was turning to the Dark Side. I've never actually felt like I was part of the movie before.

I think the only thing he screwed up was, the death of bobba fett and darth maul.

I haven't seen it yet, but uhh isn't it supposed to be a kids movie? All kids movies suck like that.

No. Well, yes. I don't think he should be directing Mexican novellas either. So we disagree, and we must fight to the death now.
