Mrs' most recent wayfair purchase. Think I was able to limit it to just this one thing. (Hopefully no more.)

Observations:
Its fairly sturdy and quality was about what I expected. The towel roll holder has a wobble on the far side, came dinged as did one of the inside shelves. I probably would have gone for the stainless steel top, maybe tried to find a granite that was close to our kitchen counter but overall this particular one matches the cabinets well.

I told her to add the "expert assembly" for $150 since I didn't want to be dealing with possible headaches. Handiperson showed up with his son and daughter. I think they were around 19-20 or so and was teaching them the gig. Came in a pretty new Escalade and had his own workbench. He and son took the ~100lbs box outside, setup their work area and assembled in about 2 hours. Before assembling he did show me two cosmetic issues that I'm guessing occurred during transport. Appreciated the heads up. Overall experience was positive and content with the island.

Cybertruck because no paint to scratch, yo

Rivian and especially Raptor (and Ram TRX) are payload limited.

Default What's MY most recent purchase? Let me show you!

I kind of like the idea of the Rivian but want to see it in the real world for a bit first.

Cybertruck is pretty big.

Honest answer, get a truck for daily and a UTV for off roading. If you want speed and a 5 speed manual sequential, get the YXZ. Or just go the every other person route and get a Can-Am X3 or RZR. Personally Iím a fan of the YXZ and talon. Plus side, no belts to worry about.

Really canít beat the off road capabilities of UTVís and parts are relatively inexpensive for when they break.

Is that aftermarket or pulled from another model?

Looks like the meso customs piece. I bought the factory unit from the brz/frs at a ridiculous price before anyone was making these.

It is Meso, for $35 including the black ring I'm very happy.

^That's pretty cool. Post your impressions when you get it. Specifically if it smells of nasty off gassing chemicals and if adds or detracts any comfort.

I love to sleep in cool temps, this could be a nice alternative to cranking the AC during the summer.

A heated and cooled cover, 2 zones with sleep metrics. Not really a topper, doesn't look like it adds much height or coushin. I would have considered one of those when I was in Florida. Running the AC on full blast all night is not cheap.

Short term to get the bed toasty I bet it would feel great on a frigid night, but only for a minute or two. Like a hot tub made of fabric sheets!

to be honest, he hated his last years, but it was a quick death, woke up, taking his morning dump, sitting down in his favorit armchair and pass away....my problem now are Mom and Sister...

edit: yes, passed first of October, today at 10 AM funeral. First the police investigation to determine if normal death or something fishy, and than the waiting list for the crematory.

May have to consider one of these next summer. Nights have cooled down a decent amount so no longer needed. When we moved into new place one of the first things I did was have a ceiling fan installed in the master br. She now complains that it's too cold or too dusty - wind up keeping the fan slightly too low.

If she were to close the bedroom doors I'd probably heat up the room to ~90 by 2am. I wind up having to struggle regulating body temperature most of the night by alternating leg out, half blanket off, etc.

From a flavor perspective? Or multiuse perspective?

I put hot sauce on everything...chicken breasts, sammies, eggs, pizza, burgers, veggies, pretzels, etc. I bought some boutique flavors that ended up going unused because while they were delicious their application was narrow. I ended up back at Sriracha and Louisana.
