Gents, are there any rear wiper blades that are better than OEM? I'd rather avoid swapping to 03 Forester arms if I can avoid it.

Grabbed a stack of floormat coasters at the dealer during an oil change:

1. I would like the know the answer to that wiper question also.

2. What do you have mounted where the DCCD controller should be? I just finished an STI console swap and am trying to figure out what to put in that DCCD switch hole.

1) Holy crap the OEM ones suck.
2) I mounted an iPod touch that's connected to my HU. It's setup so it unlocks when receiving power from the HU, locks (and stop playing) when the HU is off, and has the music app locked in landscape mode with coverflow disabled.

1) If you think the OEM one sucks, try aftermarket, they're even worse. I too am looking for a better solution. The replacement one I bought misses a huge portion right in the middle of the blade. My OEM worn out one worked better than this replacement (Advance Auto Parts)

Apparently the BEST solution is to buy an '03 wiper arm and cap for a Forester, which will allow you to use any 16" standard blades (like the Icons which I do enjoy so far). I'm strongly considering that option if I can't find a better aftermarket one that'll fit the stock plastic arm.

Does your headunit take control of your iPod? I can't use my iPhone controls when it is plugged into my headunit; I have to use the headunit instead to select songs, which is fine I guess.

I'm using an aftermarket single din, which lets me control my iPhone/iPod's music via the device itself, the HU, and the SWC's. I don't think my factory HU allowed me to use iPhone controls either.

The rear wiper does suck, I find myself using the rear defroster to bake off all the left behindness

True, but they aren't stocked in the US (as far as I know). Getting them shipped from Japan puts them in "crazy expensive" territory

Just got back from being in the field for 10 days. It's finally on :

I had the Perrin Quad-tip and Invidia N1 previously. The GReddy EVO3 is so far the best in built and quality compare to the other two. The sound is also amazing; no more drone and obnoxious N1 sound .

Spec:
- Killer B EL header and up pipe
- HKS cat-less down pipe
- GReddy EVO3 CBE

Hahaha that's not good . Coming from the N1 Race it's definite a lot quieter. So far there haven't been any surface rust yet but we'll see LOL. Btw, it's 304SS so I don't know how your would be rusty?!?

Ya no drone cause I have resonators on the DP and on the mid-pipe. About vid I'm not sure I'll be able to satisfy your need since my GoPro sucks at capturing sound and I work all the time. Check YouTube, there are some clips of this exhaust.
