Nice to hear there is a closer station. I've been going between Perris and Pomona to get my E85.

I have been reading and I was planning to do a speed density tune probably carberry with the map switching. But I dont think it would be wise on the td 04. I would get some hp that would put me on par with the other td04's around the country not using Cali 91 but its not enough to say that it is effective. I was hoping to make my engine safer but I'll stick to being tuned rich and sacrifice hp.

Hey Paul. I see you're in the 562. Where do you live? I'm live in Norwalk, I visit my family in Lakewood pretty often, I go to class in La Mirada, and I hang out a good amount in Cerritos.

Do you go, or do you plan to go to the 76 on Firestone and San Antonio in Norwalk for E85?

My car is currently in the shop getting the last parts of my build installed. Ultimate goals for the car would be mostly track (time attack)use as I have another car I use as my daily. Originally I was just going to go with pump gas but after talking with a few people it seems that E85 might be a better option. I've looked into the pros and cons and it seems that the only real con is the decrease in MPG, but I wanted to get some insight from people who have actually used this on their car. I've listed the pertinent mods below. Thanks guys!

Cobb AP
Synergy 20g with 7cm hotside
TGV deletes
Walbro fuel pump
Spt intake
Catless turbo back
1000cc injectors
EBCS
Catless up pipe
Large TMIC
1 step colder plugs
I may have missed something but that's pretty much it.
+ a bigger fuel pump and aftermarket fuel rail and lines and fuel pressure regulator and a tune on e85 at church tuning.. Priceless

I'm running on e85 from Fullerton right now. I fill up there and Firestone (76) I'm pulling 500WHP on E85

I have a 10' wrx on e85 and its great. Headers,dp,tmic,255,1000cc's and it puts down 360/410tq on a vf52. Full tank on street gets around 220, hwy gets 260. Do it. Phatbotti tuned.

Are you on the stock clutch? Any problems with clutch or tranny?

^^sorry but 350whp seem VERYYY high for a vf48. especially on a 2L
my 20g made 353whp on 91 on a 2.5L and its definitely bigger than a vf48.

you will get atleast probaly 50whp+ out of the e85. all depends on the tune tho. and stock clutch will be a no go. stock trans is iffy.

Clutch is upgraded to Act hdss model but I need one with more grip. Tranny so far so good.

Also, 06+ wrx 5 speed is stronger then 02-05 tranny just an FYI dking.....

Remember the rating is for flywheel tq, nonetheless I put it on last march and it has less than 10k on the clutch.

Yes, I know it's flywheel tq. But like I said, my clutch had 30k on it and was holding my power fine.

Just seems weird.....but who knows.

Yup. I'm doing a full motor build, along with a twinscroll borgwarner 8375. Shooting for 550+whp out of this setup. 10k+ is gonna be the cost to do it.
