Mike your car was great. It is one tq monster to say the least. Your setup isn’t over the top either. It was very nice to fix up the car and we all hope you are happy with it. Hey how is that boost controller -JON. We are going to post up some dyno numbers soon, and ill be sure to post them up on this thread as well so people can see the potential of a nice simple setup.

Its actualy Jon. I am the rep for Icspeformance in the subaru and evo community and also have my own wrx. I am not sure if Mike would like me to reveal all his modifications but, i can say that it is a perrin gt3076r with a set of perrin eq headers, and a full titanium magnaflow exhaust (sound awsome, still has the boxery idle and at low throttle stays subaru but when wide open its just mean almost sound like a jet.) Mike also custom made his own intercooler setup with an aps core and his own pipes. and the car is tuned on a sti utec with sd. The tune was on 93/methanol. Mike please chim in with the rest of mods if you would like.

Yeah just like Jon said, the car is a beast on the road. ICS did a superb job and I would recommend them to anyone. Junior is extremely thorough and and excellent Suby tuner. The car has a simple list of mods and with the built motor I haven't even started to tickle it yet.
Mods are: 2.5L with Mahle pistons and Oliver rods Stock heads Walbro fuel pump Perrin EQ headers Perrin GT30R turbo kit with custom CAI APS Core with custom pipes Magnaflow Full Ti exhaust(discontinued) Exedy Twin Plate CoolingMist Meth running 100% meth, no mix. That's pretty much it, simple setup and makes stupid power. On the street it's a monster. I'll be on this thread frequently to let people know the horrors I had at 'another tuner' very soon, pictures and all. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again guys, talk to you soon. -Mike |

Your best power was 456whp, I gave you the average number from 4 pulls. Your car in c16 + Meth will make close to 500whp.. I love it! |

Yeah I love the exhaust combo, very unique. I think a 35R is in store very soon. Honestly, I never really saw the reason for getting rid of the TVG's. Maybe a couple hp? I'm not complaining after the ride today, trust me.
Thanks again ICS. -Mike |

Weve done tgv's on lots of cars, mine as well, and it realy quites things down knock wise. Junior was able to tune it after the tgv's and we were able to push it further with no knock. It increases air flow a lot as well. Bring it on down one day and i can personaly do your tgv's for you. And I have video of your car on my camera phone and i want to get it up on this site so people can hear how nice your car sounds with the perrin/magnaflow combo.
