Default Subispeed thumbs down

I have placed a couple orders through subispeed and every one of them has had issues.

My first order was a perrin shifter kit with a short throw shifter. The short throw did not arrive. It was sent after I contacted them.

My second order was a j-pipe and cat back. The tip on the exhaust was bent. This may have been a sipping issue but it was still an issue.

My third and last order was a foglight kit and the new rgb clights from morimoto. The hardware for the foglight bezels were impossible to use and I had to buy my own hardware. The c-lights were supposed to have a switchback function and did not. Subispeed sent me the old version that did not have the function and extra wire. Their website does not destinguish between the two nor does I mention anything about the yellow wire that is supposed to be there for the switch back function. I did not find this out until everything was completely installed. I still do not have switchback function. I was told by one of the reps that there was a large mixup at the warehouse that caused the two versions to be mixed.

On top of all this my reviews of their products good or bad have still not posted to their website.

Cannot trust subispeed to get you the right product the first time, you cannot count on them.

I also had an issue with subispeed shipping. I ordered a Perrin catback and it showed up to my door in an extremely beat up box. Luckily the exhaust itself wasn't damaged but it easily could have been. However, Subispeed also replaced one of my license plate lights that was out of warranty for free.

With that being said, I don't think I would buy expensive components from them online. I haven't had an issue with them mixing up parts for smaller orders, but I will probably be moving my business to RSD for more expensive parts.

I bought a ton of parts from subispeed. It's a very convenient website.
However, after about 1.5 years a lot of the upgraded lights I've purchased have gone dark.
1. My sti rear diffuser f1 light is off.
2. My rear license plate lights are burned out.
3. My olm highbeam bulbs are burnt out.

I love they way they all look but I'm pissed this stuff doesnt last longer.

I’m about to order the RA pinstripe for the grill of my ‘19 STi. You guys have me worried now. Wonder if I should just skip it.

I've ordered from them six times, my girlfriend twice. Neither of us has ever had a correct order. Never again.

So the first five times didn't discourage you?^^

What is it with people continually ordering products from websites they have issues with? Just go with the original manufacturer instead of beating your head into a wall repeatedly.

I had no problem getting my grill pinstripes from them. They even gave me a free Laffy Taffy.

I've never had a problem with them either. I've ordered from them about 4 times and everything went smooth.

Hard to spend a subispeed gift card at a different website. It wasn't that big of a deal until the last two orders that took over a month to get the correct part.

I had an issue where they sent me the wrong shifter stop, but they refunded me timely. Besides that, I've placed maybe 7-8 orders with them over the course of 3years and they've been fine.

Plus the videos the kids make are useful and fun to watch.
