Can someone with a DirecTechs account get me the Wiring Diagram for Alarm/RS into a 2011 Toyota Corolla S?
Also, which interface modules should I need? |

Chipped key. Has the Keyless Entry buttons right on the key..pretty sure its just Keyless Entry and not Alarm.

Security Test: 1. Roll down drivers window 2. Close all entry points (hood, doors, trunk) 3. Lock doors from keyless remote. 4. Wait 60 seconds, open vehicle from inside. If alarm sounds vehicle has OEM security. 5. If alarm does not sound open drivers door. 6. Press the lock button on the drivers door, shut drivers door. 7. Wait 60 seconds, retry opening door from inside. 8. If alarm sounds vehicle has OEM security. If not, there is no OEM security. Coded Key Test: 1. Grab some tin foil 2. Take key, wrap the HEAD of the key in AT LEAST 3 layers of tin foil. 3. You should be able to still put the key in the ignition and turn it with the tin foil on the key head. 4. 1 of 3 things will happen when you try to start the vehicle with the key head wrapped in tin foil. 4. a. Car just cranks but does not start. 4. b. Car starts but shuts off within 10 seconds 4. c. Car starts and does not shut off. If 4.c. is what happens, key is not coded meaning you do not need a bypass module from either site I listed before. the12volt.com has listings for 2009 corolla, I want to say wiring might be a little different though for 2011. If I have time I might be able to get you a copy of the 2011. If you have time though, I'd grab a multimeter and grab the 09 listings and check out if they match at all. If they do you can get done without having to wait. |

hey guys, tried searching but couldn't find anything.
Not even sure if this is possible, but can i install a remote start into my 05 sti which is equipped with lojack early warning? i am thinking no because the little key fob on my keys needs to be in the car when its started or it will trigger to lojack. I'm not sure how far you can be from the car without it triggering that. |

i'm not really sure how its wired up... lol. thats why I came in here, hoping I could get it to work somehow.
I only want the remote start for cold mornings honestly, and when i'm at my gf's apartment she has a ****load of stairs and I hurt my leg so its a PITA going up and down the stairs in the morning to go start my car. Jay - do you have any idea how close you need to be to the car without tripping the early warning system? |

You're probably looking at an EVO-ALL, EVO-CAN, or KEY-OVERRIDE-BYPASS. Anyone of them only requires 1 key to program. |

The key DOES have a G stamped on the Blade.
Looking on FlashLogic, it appears the FLC-AL(TB)-TL2 is what I need. Does that mean I need the FLCAN with that firmware on it? FlashLogic has a diagram, but it doesnt seem that it's complete? I havent had a chance to totally draw it out yet, but the Toyota has Priority unlock but FlashLogic only lists a single unlock wire. (Unless Im misunderstanding how Priority Unlock works) Does the FlashLogic module include an induction coil type thing? Or does it just completely replace that? (Forgive me, Im new to the whole immobilizer bypass thing) |

I have no idea what you are talking about an induction coil....? Unless your talking about the imobilizer, it's nothing like a 556uw. It does the bypass and any convience features via the data bus in the vehicle. |

can anyone recommend me a reliable and foolproof kit? Btw I'm going to have it professionally installed. Thanks in advance. |

Also, find out how long they have been doing them and develop a list of wants/needs and make sure that they are comfortable fulfilling them. Ask about hidden fees as well (shop supplies, bypass modules, relays, etc....) Most reputable places should be able to quote a 2008 Rav4 off the top of their heads and should know exactly what parts will be needed. FYI they need a starter and bypass module, relays should not be necessary for doorlocks, but they will probably need one for the 2nd Starter and 2nd Ignition wires found on that vehicle....if they charge you "extra" to tie in the door locks I think they are ripping you off as the bypass module will handle all of that as well as vehicle security, immobilizer bypass, etc... so if they charge you extra for any one of those, I'd say they are just taking advantage of you financially. |
