Default 04 STi rear hub onto 02 WRX

Hi, Im converting my 02 WRX brakes to the 04 STi Brembos. I've most all the parts I can think of, but before I start buzzin bolts off I was wondering if anyone has done this conversion before and could offer some advice and answer some Q's. I've sent some PM's to people I've seen with pics of the rear brembos on so you may have gotten a message from me.

Im not worried about the fronts, but the rears will involve replacing the whole hub assembly. On one hand, this seems pretty basic, on the other there are a lot of little details that have me scratching me head.
My first concern is that the WRX axles will not fit in the 04 STi hubs. Is this a concern I should have?

ABS: once I swap the STi brakes with the WRX's, will my ABS still work? I don't know why it wouldn't, but I've never swapped brakes on a car before so I don't know how they design these things. Im assuming things should match up but I dont know if the rear sensors are the same for the year/models.

E-brake: The rear hubs from the 04 STi still have the e-brake cables, any advice on changing/swapping this?

rear hub wheel bearings: How can I inspect these / know if they are good or not before I install the rear hubs? I sent the previous owner an email asking him if they were good still and they have been off the car for about a month or two now.

Rotors: Rears seem to be alittle warped, uneven and have a few chips in them, looks like something fell on em while they were off. Ill take some pic's when I get home, but any idea if this can still be machined? looks like alot would need to be taken out to get these to work.

Torque specs: can I assume to torque the bolts on the 04 hub the same as the 02 as what I find in manuals?

I've seen a lot of posts asking about doing this to bug eyes, Ill try to do some write up for those wanting to do this to reference to, but its gonna be a while, I still need to find some wheels I can use to clear the brembos.

thanks for the help!
