Question Tires Mounted Backwards Dangerous?

I just noticed that two of my new KDWSes are mounted backwards, the sidewall has text saying "this side in".

Is this a big deal? If so why?

Tire Rack Vender Mr. Tire in Arlington, VA did this.

Should I take it back?

Definitely have them fix them.
Are they assymetrical tread patterns? That's why they would have an "inside" marking.

If they were simply on the wrong side (running reverse from the arrow on directionals) then it would not be a problem *in the dry*. But you've got a different problem. I don't know specifically on your tires, but on some, the sidewall is actually stiffer on the outside than on the inside. Take them back!
