Question Is it going to be a good market to buy a used RS?

I'm not going to be able to get the WRX, but would still like to get into the 2.5 RS coupe. I've seen several used RS's that are in my price range, and I'm sure there will be several that go up for sale when the WRX is delivered.

I'm a scooby newbie, what should I look for in a used RS? What do I need to be aware of? Where is the best place to find aftermarket parts, etc.

I'm sure I'll have more questions after I actually purchase an RS, but would like to start my research now. Thanks for your assistance.

I think the best thing to look for is the condition of the car. You want the most car for the least money. If you find a car here up fore sale I would do a search on that person and see if they having any posts on doing street racing and other things you may not want to have done to your car.

Now to blow my own horn: You will find my car up for sale. The price is a little higher than book, the reason I have is higher is that I have close to or over $4500.00 in FHI/STi parts I imported from Japan, a couple things I haven't scene on any one elses cars.

There are a few good deals on this board.

Jim
PS my firm price includes delivery.

Oh man, it's about to be a buyers market for 2.5RSes. There's a turboed one for about $18K in the Private classifieds, the one mentioned by the above poster, and more popping up daily.

I'm thinking this is the best place too, since people here baby their cars with equipment and proper fluids, even as they drive them hard.
