Removed the car covers off my cars last night. Hibernation ends in about 2 weeks so I am getting a little excited to start the season.

First thing to do are oil changes and on the STI clean the undercarriage as I had to drive on salted roads to take the car for smog check.

The shifter stop is definitely a nice mod on the WRX. I swapped the bushing too, but that was more like 'since it came with the kit' and since I was already under the car to do the oil change. Another great mod is the Fumoto valve on the WRX and muffler deletes. I run the Remarks.

For me started looking for deals on 5W30.. did not net anything today. Probably too early.

I just ordered the iFJF shift stop and bushing. ~$16 vs ~$60 for the perrin combo. Normally I wouldn't buy an off brand but the reviews seemed pretty legit and you can't beat that price. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart lol

Yes ,both the shifter stop and bushing did make it go into 1st and 2nd easier/ more guided .I do have the Fumoto valve #F108N also, but haven't installed it yet as the car has only 1k on it .As for the exhaust I'm seriously considering an Invidia Q300 catback.

Good call on the Fumoto valve. I have a new one sitting in my parts bin for my STI and FiST which I will install soon.

Yeah, I've looked at the Q300 and others, but I honestly feel that on the FA20 the muffler deletes sound better. I run GReddy CBE on my STI which sounds great. My other choice was the Cobb. GL on whatever exhaust you end up with.

I got rid of the Remarks...Way too much of a tin can sound and drone on the highway. Q300 will be on soon. Planning on a J pipe, COBB FF kit this summer. Currently running MAP E30, absolute beast mode for a stage 1.

Theyíre kind of cheesy but I donít care, I like em , they compliment my cf b pillar trim and Iím considering the launsport c pillar cf trim accent too. Itís too cold to install all my motor and suspension upgrades I have waiting but just seeing something new on a freezing day is nice

Some fun ricer before and afters

Jack up my rusted frame of a bugeye and admire all the damage to it from corrosion. I'm currently in search of a new shell but not having much luck. At least, one that's not terribly expensive.

How bout you all?
I got my Headers, 3 port boost controller installed. And, got it tuned!

Thought about washing the wrx today since it was finally above freezing, then decided a nap before nightshift was more important...

Nothing wrong with that. Without good health nothing good comes out.

I too am getting a little excited about warmer weather. Going to look for some Mobil1 this week for my STI and WRX.
