Default State inspection help!

I have a 2006 Subaru legacy gt and it is straight piped and I'm afraid it's not gonna pass the emissions test, and I was wondering if anybody knows any shops in the Houston area or anywhere near there that'll just pass me for a few extra bucks?

I would suggest looking up your state and local laws regarding emissions testing. Im assuming texas is a fairly lax state with all the high hp cars running around down there. I know here in NC all original equipment must appear to be in place and in working order aka most guys run a “high flow cat”:test pipe or hollow out their stock cat. Theres no decibel testing. Again, look at your laws first. Then dont ask how to break the law on the internet

What you are asking for is highly illegal, and I wouldn't be doing that in a public forum.

Anyways... There is no emissions testing because your car is AWD and they can only do "sniffer" tests on 2WD cars because it has to be on the rollers and driving.

As long as you have no Check Engine lights on, and your readiness monitors are good, you should be able to pass just fine.

"Emissions" testing on cars with OBD 2 is simply plugging in the scanner and reading the ECU around here. No smog check, hardly a visual check (they won't get under the car)
