Default HID and NON HID question

Im really paranoid about baking my lights to clear them, so i wanna purchase the JDM non-HID headlights. My question is since the stock headlights for STis are HIDs am i gonna need to get an aftermarket HID converstion kit also? or how hard it is to convert the JDMs non-hids into factory hids?

basically, when they're open you can just put in STI hid's. the wrx projectors have a different base that doesn't focus the hid properly, so you need a D2S bowl to bolt to the wrx lamps.
