I enjoy saying it since 90% of this thread the photos are taken with a phone. Everyone prefaces their post with "sorry about the phone shots"

In that case...a lot of the phone pictures look better than your DSLR shots.

I agree. But it isn't the equipment that makes the shot and putting down others phone pictures is an ******* move...especially when there are people that can out swing me in photography by leaps and bounds with nothing but a phone.

If you drop the smartass routine you don't get responses like this.

It was all just a joke, honestly wasn't trying to put down others shots. I never said they were bad, just funny most people say it. Hell I am guilty of it too if you look up my way old pictures from any thread.
I'm not trying to act like I'm better than anyone because I have the eBay special on beginners DSLRs and have no knowledge how to use it.

I apologize if I rustled any one else's jimmies.

I posted a few times in the DSLR and Armins thread trying to get advice and constructive criticism. I know my shots aren't worth the space they take up on the Internet. Just trying to ease the tension Happy, ease the tension..

It didn't come off like that or I was just too f'in sensitive. There is a lot of that attitude in the photography world so I probably am hypersensitive to it. (bottom line...I could have just been being a girl about it)

Watch your exposure on the car. The wheels are really too dark. Also look up the rule of thirds and really try to bring lines to the corners of the frame.

It's all good my friend. I honestly wasn't trying to be an elitist prick. Just saw someone else say it and found it slightly amusing.

I appreciate the comment. The damn matte black wheels are difficult for me to bring out any detail in unless it is the perfect light. Also the rule of 3rds is the first thing I am trying to really work on. I need to turn the setting on on the camera's viewfinder/screen so I can set up the shot better. So far the only 4 shots I found decent out of the ~200 I have taken have been trying to just get down the basics of the rule of thirds.

What rain guards are this??? They look too flush. Me likey.

Most people in here paint their HL with matte black I did semi gloss and they look just like 08 ones. Plus I took the time for the rings. And the rings makes the difference.

They are from amazon. Somewhere in here someone posted the part # for the sedan and hatch don't remember where. But was a while ago.

Speaking of knobs, it's a comfortable 103 degrees in the ******* of the Midwest with a nice 90% humidity. I went to start my car that has been baking for 9 hours while I worked. I was pleased to see I didn't get 2nd degree burns on my hand like I used to with my titanium knob. Still enjoying my powder coated cannonball.

I'm not a fan of the regular visors I see on a lot of Subarus on here, but there don't look bad at all being as flush as they are and not bulging out like the OEM ones.

Not a fan of painted lips, but this looks pretty good on SWP!

Also, are those overlay eyelids on there?

Recieved the new HT Autos roof spoiler. Fitment is spot on... now to paint it or wrap it. I'm thinking I'll wrap it first to see if I want it black to match the roof, or if Paint matching it to the car color would be better...

Sorry for crap pictures, was lazy and just took with cell phone since it's just the primered product.
