Default Can anyone confirm the XTI will have a 6 Speed Manual

If so I’ll trade in my wife’s anemic Crosstrek. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that the Crosstrek XTI was only a rumor that people wished to be true... still hoping for a manual, turbocharged hatchback from Subaru. Nothing was ever officially announced by Subaru.

I actually recall Subaru saying that the Crosstrek is selling too well now and they may consider a turbocharged version in the future if sales slow enough. They have a difficult time keeping up with the demand as is. I can't imagine that it would get a 6 speed version either.. maybe a detuned WRX engine mated to the CVT.

You're probably better off contacting Prime Motoring than waiting for Subaru

Looks like I misread some hype. Too bad it has a lot going for it. Just needs boost and a proper manual transmission.

As a "Scooby Specialist" you should know better on what to expect from Subaru. For over a decade there has been too much "could have, should have", but ultimately they never did.

No manual transmission for you! Only LOVE!!

I think most of us would love to see Subaru offer a boosted hatchback with a manual transmission.. you're not alone. I don't care if it's a WRX/STI, Forester, or Crosstrek.
