Got any pictures of the silver Awesome wheels on a dark blue car? I know a guy who might be interested in that combination for their car... even better if they happen to be covered in a nice layer of brake dust

The wheels got wrapped this weekend in Michelin Pilot Super Sports (265/35R18). Now I'm just waiting on lug nuts, fender rolling, and springtime to install them.

Testament: I did this to my front wheel. Guardrail. Twisted and sheared the whole lip off. Barrel and spokes stayed true and intact, held air, drove home on it.

Bought 2 new ones this morning, shipped today, will have on Thursday. Wont drive on anything else.

Oh and they have 6-7 track days, 3 autox's, 2 sets of tires, and 1 tail of the dragon on them

I'm thinking of getting these wheels but not sure on the tire size. I have a 2005 WRX with all STi suspension underneath. Rolled fenders. My current set up is a 17x8 RPF1 +45 with a 245/40R17. I am thinking of getting the 17x9 and maybe putting a 255/40R17 if I can fit it under my car. Has anyone put a 255 on a GD STi?

Well the tires I am buying don't come in a 255/40R17 so 245 it is.

Not sure of the tire size on the white one, but the blue one is on 245s.

^Looks great! What suspension are you on?

Also, is it safe to assume that you are in south jersey based on your username?

This is the combination I'm looking for. What's the total weight with pilot super sport?

I've given up on Photobucket and am re-hosting the Mach V-supplied photos in this thread. It's taking some time, but the photos should work after this. I'm starting at the beginning of the thread and making my way to the present...

Photobucket has gotten really bad lately. I started to use Flickr and it's worked great so far.

A few more of mine from a recent drive I took. These are the 17x9 variety with a 15mm spacer in the front and 20mm in the rear. 255/40 re71r tires.

Wow, that looks sweet!

I will personally pay you make some kind of bracket for that front plate, though. Then I could sleep at night.

LOL ya I get it... It was suppose to be temporary. That was at least 2 years ago

I stupidly put the oil cooler smack in the middle of the bumper opening so I can't use the factory location... Can't decide where to actually put it.
