I don't see how anyone in the Military can vote for him. Doesn't anyone remember under his watch we almost didn't get paid?
Federal Employees haven't seen an annual raise since 2010? Hey, maybe I'll lose my job and get me an Obama phone!?!?!

I'm at a complete loss. And apparently with the majority posting here.
WTF over?!? I was sure with the failures of Obama he'd be ousted. I am disgusted with the nation at the moment. To have such a great divide, for EVERYONE to realize we are on the WRONG track.. the nation decides to "stay the course"?? WTF. I guess the shining lining is he can't run again. Unless he demolishes the remainder of the constitution. |

Last rant and then I'm moving on.
The whole Obama ended the war in Iraq thng. We can actually thank Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki for that one. Had he and his countrymen not stood their ground and allow the SOFA agreement expire, we would still be in Iraq right now. Osama Bin Laden? We can thank the Bush Administration for that one. It was only a matter of time. Had it been up to Obama, Gitmo would have been shut down and a lot of our leads contributing to his demise would have gone with it. Oh, Mr President? "Navy SEAL Team 6 is Cheney's private assassination team." sound familar? Okay, Done. IMPEACH OBAMA 2012!! |

I've voted twice in the presidential election... Obama is two for two. In other news... The race for President isn't the only thing that went down tonight. Colorado and Washington are legalizing Marijuana for recreational use... I honestly did not see that coming! Plus it looks like WA may be passing the initiative legalizing Gay marriage as well but it's still too close to call. Maine and Maryland's measures passed from what I read. |

Really scumbag? Wasn't fond of him but I never saw anything that would classify him as "scumbag". Not like the imposter in chief who would cover up the abandoning of 4 Americans who were killed.

In addition to the debacle at the national level***8230;at the state level a lot of interesting things took place> Same sex marriage is now legal in 9 states. Maine, Maryland and Washington joined six other states-Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont. Marijuana is now legal in Colorado and Washington.
To top it all off, they've now passed a referendum to require condoms at porn shoots in Los Angeles. http://www.adn.com/2012/11/07/268544...-leave-la.html Apparently Kate, Grinder and Jessi all think we are on the right track. |

To be completely honest.. WE, the people really have no say in whom our next president is going to be, in fact the electoral college doesn't really could care less what the popular vote thinks. One could say it's all a farce, or "rigged", or ... a conspiracy.
There is some VERY interesting information out there regarding our government, how it works and how little we actually are in control. It is a shame AKMS V1.0 is down, as there was a wealth of informative links regarding the countries history, how the constitution was framed and what it really says, how and when outside interests invaded our politics, whom really controls the country ... etc. It may lean toward the "conspiracy theorists", but is does provide enough questions to make someone, at least with a non-brainwashed mind to go.. "hmmmm". Look into "Bilderberg" for instance. An international group of politicians, economists, etc... that meet regularly for "off-the-record" discussions regarding global and national issues. Some have claimed this same group has been behind every election since the 50's and is attempting a "new world order". |

There's just too much involved in the whole election deal. There's just more and more evidence that points to the fact that (for me) voting is a waste of time and doesn't matter to me.
It'd be nice if it were just tallied like any other voting process, but it's not. Too many variables. |

kayetealynn- I voted for Gary Johnson he's a Libertarian but was a Republican when he was governor of NM for 8 years.
I personally think legalizing marijuana will be great for the economy but just like medicl marijuana the federal government can still step in and shut those places down. Why do I think mittens is a scumbag? -Well let's see I have a uterus. He wanted to take funding out of planned parenthood, something I STRONGLY disagree with. See here's the problem everyone thinks that planned parenthood is free (i.e. free abortions & free birth control) but it's not, everything is based on a sliding income scale. Everyone wants to bitch about people on welfare well you're going to have more of them if you don't make birth control & abortions easily accesible. Let's not forget that he can't seem to make up his mind about abortion either, he's pro-choice when it benefits him money wise but when it comes to winning the republican vote he is pro-life -Gay Marriage. I have too many gay friends & family to even want to support his views on this. I see no reason to tell someone who they can or cannot marry. His views are so old fashioned. "I believe marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman". Oh yes so sacred then while you're at it make it illegal to get a divorce. Those are two of the BIG issues for me. As far as Obama goes, he is my "boss" so I can't really speak ill of him but I think in theory health insurance for everyone is great but I just don't see it working nor do I think americans to include myself really know enough about it. |

I think gay people should get married. That way they can be miserable just like straight couples are/can be.
On a lighter note gun/ammo sales are thru the roof. We can thank Obama for that. So in a way I guess he has done the economy some good. Lastly, even tho those states "legalized" mary jane, it is STILL ILLEGAL. In the end federal law is still the ruler. The state may not do anything about it but the Feds can. Btw I'm pro-pot even tho I don't support people I know to do it. |

Said the person on the short bus.
It really doesn't surprise me that you "think" this way, Katealynn. I'll say yet another prayer for you. Quote:
Scary! Very scary. How about taking some personal responsibility for your uterus and either abstaining from sex or if you choose otherwise, using the birth control of your choice? You are an adult aren't you? The trickle of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=Z5tqH7UrzOw#! is about to become a downpour. Institutions which have been working on this planet for millennia, pre-dating our own nation's foundation and about to be fundamentally reversed. IT IS NOT GOING TO GO WELL. Your types of short sighted philosophies are opposed to truth, justice, science and universal law. Forgive them father, they know not what they do. |

How DARE you presume that because someone is pro-choice means that they must be out having unprotected sex and having abortions. Furthermore how dare you presume that you have the right to tell people how to conduct their own personal sex lives. You don't see anyone here telling you how to live your life. You don't like the government butting into what you consider your personal business so stay the hell out of other people's personal business and lives. Those are HER beliefs, not yours! You absolutely do NOT have the right to make decisions like that for women out there and people like you should absolutely not support the government to force something that is so intimate and personal a decision onto other people who think differently about abortion. You don't like abortions? Easy.. Don't get one. You don't like Gay marriage? Easy.. Don't get married to someone of the same sex! Just like I don't really like guns... So I don't own one! I don't really like alcohol.. So I don't drink often! I don't really like drugs.. So I don't shoot up! But I'm not out trying to pass laws from preventing people from owning guns, drinking alcohol, or using drugs if they so choose to. Furthermore.. About the short bus comment... There is nothing wrong with being mentally or physically disabled either! But your comments imply that you don't feel the same about people. You are putting yourself on this pedestal and that you are some how a superior being and that anyone that isn't molded the same way you is somehow inferior, hence the reason you made a quip about me riding the short bus. That's the difference between me and you. You think that because I think differently there must be something wrong with me when all reality there really isn't. I think that because you think differently that you must just be different and I AM OKAY WITH THAT until it starts to infringe on what I consider to be personal rights. I think I should be the one praying for you! |
